Taxonomy
Lichas minganensis was named by Billings (1865). Its type specimen is GSC 1332a (lectotype), a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Acrolichas minganensis by Raymond (1925); it was recombined as Amphilichas minganensis by Shaw (1968).
