Terebra reticulata was named by Sowerby (1840) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene-Recent; Indo-Pacific.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Terebra (Myurella) reticulata by Vredenburg (1925), Mukerjee (1939); it was recombined as Myurella reticulata by Harzhauser et al. (2009).
