Sokotosuchus ianwilsoni
Taxonomy
Sokotosuchus ianwilsoni was named by Halstead (1975). Its type specimen is University of Ife, Natural History Museum, P.1, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gilbedi Hills, Rima River, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial shale in the Dukamaje Formation of Nigeria.
