Sebecus icaeorhinus
Taxonomy
Sebecus icaeorhinus was named by Simpson (1937). Its type specimen is AMNH 3160, a partial skull (Disarticulated skull and mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cañadon Hondo, Bird Clay locality, which is in a Casamayoran lacustrine claystone/tuff in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Sebecus.
