Bretesuchus bonapartei
Taxonomy
Bretesuchus bonapartei was named by Gasparini et al. (1993). Its type specimen is PVL 4735, a partial skull (Skull and jaw partially complete), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Estancia El Brete (Paleocene), which is in a Paleocene floodplain sandstone/siltstone in the Maiz Gordo Formation of Argentina.
