Taxonomy
Modiolus magnus was named by Guskov (1984). It is a mold. Its type locality is Intinskoe coalfield, Well IK-182, 302 m, Pechora Basin, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Lekvorkuta Formation of the Russian Federation.
