Congosaurus compressus
Taxonomy
Rhabdognathus compressus was named by Buffetaut (1980). Its type specimen is MNHM TGE 4034, a mandible (Fragment of mandibular symphysis), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is In Farghas, Tilemsi Valley, which is in a Paleocene/Paleocene marine horizon in Mali.
It was recombined as Congosaurus compressus by Jouve (2007).
