Cyclopecten zalaya
Taxonomy
Cyclopecten zalaya was named by Waller (2011). Its type specimen is USNM 540939, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 1227A, Arroyo Zalaya, which is in a Zanclean offshore siliciclastic in the Gurabo Formation of the Dominican Republic.
