Taxonomy
Acidaspidella was named by Pokrovskaya (1963) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Dres-u Cm Trep]. It is not extant. Its type is Acidaspidella limata.

It was assigned to Odontopleuridae by Bruton (1983); to Odontopleurida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Lichakephalidae by Thomas and Holloway (1988), Jell and Adrain (2002).
