Taxonomy
Incrassospongia rhipidos was named by Rigby (1977). It is not extant. Its type locality is GSC 69491 Amadjuak Lake, Baffin Island, which is in a Blackriveran/Trentonian marine horizon in Canada. It is the type species of Incrassospongia.
