Cowichianassa meckerti

Taxonomy
Cowichianassa meckerti was named by Schweitzer et al. (2009). Its type specimen is GSC 27159 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dove Creek Road, which is in a Campanian marine mudstone/siltstone in the Pender Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Cowichianassa.
