Taxonomy
Homola vancouverensis was named by Schweitzer (2001). Its type specimen is USNM 508588, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Neah Bay, which is in an Eocene marine horizon in the Hoko River Formation of Washington.
