Latheticocarcinus shapiroi
Taxonomy
Latheticocarcinus shapiroi was named by Bishop (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 418274 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH 3157, Grand River, west of Bullhead, which is in a Maastrichtian marine siliciclastic in the Fox Hills Formation of South Dakota.
It was recombined as Homola shapiroi by Schweitzer (2001).
