Lyreidina pyriformis
Taxonomy
Lyreidina pyriformis was named by Fraaye and van Bakel (1998). Its type specimen is MAK k. 2251 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ENCI-Maastricht B.V. quarry (Nekum), which is in a Maastrichtian shallow subtidal chalk in the Maastricht Formation of the Netherlands. It is the type species of Lyreidina.
