Pernopecten salarius

Taxonomy
Pernopecten salarius was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17195, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Platform at foot of hill 2604, N. of Fazalwali dhok, top beds, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
