Taxonomy
Neritomopsis minuta was named by Waagen (1880). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chidru, topmost Productus Limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Changhsingian coastal sandstone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Naticopsis minuta by Knight (1933); it was recombined as Naticopsis (Neritomopsis) minuta by Reed (1944).
