Callawayasaurus colombiensis
Taxonomy
Alzadasaurus colombiensis was named by Welles (1962). Its type specimen is UCMP 38349, a partial skeleton (skull and skeleton lacking distal part sof limbs, ilia, ischia and tail), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loma de la Catalina I (UCMP loc. V-4540), which is in an Aptian marine siltstone in Colombia.
It was recombined as Callawayasaurus colombiensis by Carpenter (1999), O'Keefe (2001), O'Gorman (2019).
