Gunnellodus bellistriatus
Taxonomy
Idiacanthus bellistriatus was named by Gunnell (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Leeds Quarry, Winterset Limestone 2d, which is in a Kasimovian marine shale in the Dennis Formation of Missouri. It is the type species of Gunnellodus.
It was recombined as Gunnellodus bellistriatus by Koot et al. (2013).
