Monodelphopsis travassosi

Taxonomy
Monodelphopsis travassosi was named by Paula Couto (1952). Its type specimen is MNRJ 1365-V, a mandible (Fragment of left lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Monodelphopsis.
