Parapsolus tlayuensis

Taxonomy
Parapsolus tlayuensis was named by Applegate et al. (2009). It is not extant. Its type specimen is IGM 6850. Its type locality is Site IGM-1970, Tlayúa Quarry (Alacranes quarry), which is in an Albian/Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Tlayúa Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Parapsolus.
