Cuneognathus gardineri
Taxonomy
Cuneognathus gardineri was named by Friedman and Blom (2006). Its type specimen is MGUH VP 27637, a skull (left-lateral view), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cuneognathus gardineri type locality, which is in a Famennian lacustrine shale/mudstone in the Obrutschew Bjerg Formation of Greenland. It is the type species of Cuneognathus.
