Taxonomy
Miguashaia grossi was named by Forey et al. (2000). Its type specimen is LDM 291/31, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lode Clay Quarry, which is in a Givetian deltaic sandstone in the Lode Formation of Latvia.
