Psiladiporites redundantis was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-15-600 (Catatumbo). Loc: 48.8X124.7 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.
