Lariosaurus curionii
Taxonomy
Lariosaurus curionii was named by Rieppel (1998). Its type specimen is Université Paris VI, Laboratoire de Paléontologie et de Paléoanthropologie, PVHR 1, a partial skeleton (skull and partial postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Amélie-les-Bains, eastern Pyrenees, which is in a Ladinian marine horizon in France.
