Cyamodus hildegardis

Taxonomy
Cyamodus hildegardis was named by Peyer (1931). Its type specimen is PIMUZ T4763, a skeleton (articulated skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Val Porina (incl. tetto nuovo), which is in an Anisian/Ladinian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Switzerland.

It was synonymized subjectively with Cyamodus muensteri by Diedrich (2011).
