Neosteiromys tordillense
Taxonomy
Neosteiromys tordillense was named by Vucetich et al. (1993). Its type specimen is MLP 91-IV-34c, a set of teeth (left M1 or M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cañadon del Tordillo, which is in a Colloncuran terrestrial tuff in the Collón Cura Formation of Argentina.
