Juvavites (Anatomites) subintermittens was named by Hyatt and Smith (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Terrup-chetta (Cottonwood Flat), on Sulanharas Creek, which is in a Tuvalian carbonate limestone in the Hosselkus Formation of California.
