Adnethiceras adnethicus
Taxonomy
Ammonites adnethicus was named by Hauer (1854). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Adneth, near Hallein (GBA collection), which is in a Sinemurian carbonate limestone in Austria. It is the type species of Adnethiceras.
It was recombined as Adnethiceras adnethicum by Wiedmann (1970); it was recombined as Adnethiceras adnethicus by Geczy and Meister (2007).
