Taxonomy
Kritosaurini was named by Lapparent and Lavocat (1955). It was considered monophyletic by Prieto-Marquez (2013).
It was assigned to Saurolophinae by Prieto-Marquez (2013), Lehman et al. (2016); and to Hadrosaurinae by Cruzado-Caballero and Powell (2017).
