Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria cancellata was named by Münster (1841). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zone D. Eversole Run, 2 miles north of Delaware County south boundary, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone/chert in the Columbus Limestone Formation of Ohio.
