Taxonomy
Aveyroniceras danielae was named by Fantini Sestini (1975). Its type specimen is MPUM 36b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Alpe Turati, bed 36, which is in a Margaritatus carbonate limestone in Italy.
