Taxonomy
Eolycosa lorenzi was named by Kušta (1886). Its type specimen is CGH Me 75, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rakovník (Rakonitz, Prague collection), which is in a Moscovian terrestrial shale/coal in the Kladno Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Eolycosa.
It was recombined as Arthrolycosa lorenzi by Fritsch (1904).
