Taxonomy
Eodipoena kaestneri was named by Petrunkevitch (1958). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Zoological Museum, Humboldt Univ Berlin (ZHMB MfN) Collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Episinus kaestneri by Marusik and Penney (2004); it was recombined as Eomysmena kaestneri by Wunderlich (2008).
