Taxonomy
Saxonarchaea dentata was named by Wunderlich (2004). Its type specimen is F558/BB/AR/ARC/CJW and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (Wunderlich collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Saxonarchaea.
