Ameghinichnus acutus
Taxonomy
Dinopentapodiscus acutus was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Leribe tracksite (zone B/4), which is in a Pliensbachian terrestrial sandstone in the Clarens Formation of Lesotho.
It was recombined as Ameghinichnus acutus by Olsen and Galton (1984).
