Cyathidites patagonicus was named by Archangelsky (1972) [Others samples: P.m. n° 739, coord. 41.9/102, 37.1/102. Others measurement: equatorial diameter, 70-90 p. 13 specimens. Locality. Well T-134, C-2.]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype: LP n 739, coord. 48.7/120.8. Stored at Museo de La Plata, Paleobotanical division., a microspore (Spore).
