Taxonomy
Australomya hillae was named by Runnegar (1969). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L3157, Wasp Head, which is in a Sakmarian shoreface sandstone in the Wasp Head Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Australomya.
