Yelangichthys macrocephalus
Taxonomy
Yelangichthys macrocephalus was named by Wu et al. (2013). Its type specimen is GMPKU-P1358, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xindian, Qingshan Pu'an County, which is in a Pelsonian marine lime mudstone in the Guanling Formation of China. It is the type species of Yelangichthys.
