Eoscorpius distinctus
Taxonomy
Typhloscorpius distinctus was named by Petrunkevitch (1949). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 13909 and is an impression. Its type locality is Coseley, near Dudley (Neil coll), which is in a Westphalian B interdistributary bay siliciclastic in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Typhloscorpius.
It was recombined as Eoscorpius distinctus by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986), Dunlop et al. (2013).
