Palaeopisthacanthus vogelandurdeni
Taxonomy
Palaeopisthacanthus vogelandurdeni was named by Jeram (1994). Its type specimen is BELUM K14086, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lone Star Lake spillway (Ulster Museum coll.), which is in a Kasimovian estuary/bay shale in the Lawrence Shale Formation of Kansas.
