Peregrinella garganica
Taxonomy
Peregrinella garganica was named by Posenato and Morsilli (1999). Its type specimen is MDSGP Ferrara University Specimen 35, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Incoronata, Is-B, which is in a Valanginian/Hauterivian deep subtidal lime mudstone in the Maiolica Formation of Italy.
