Taxonomy
Clypeaster (Rhaphidoclypus) armadilloensis was named by Sanchez-Roig (1953). Its type specimen is Sanchez Roig Tipo No. 746, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Finca "Armadillo", Marroquin, Moron - Early Oligocene, which is in an Oligocene carbonate carbonate in Cuba.
