Hemiaster moscovensis

Taxonomy
Hemiaster moscovensis was named by Cooke (1959). Its type specimen is USNM 562457, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 5058 - Moscow Bluff [Porters Creek], which is in a Paleocene coastal claystone in the Porters Creek Formation of Alabama.
