Guexiceras profundus
Taxonomy
Guexiceras profundus was named by Taylor (1998). Its type specimen is NWMNH 25030, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is New York Canyon, Shoshone Mountains (T. mullerense horizon), which is in a Semicostatum marine limestone in the Sunrise Formation of Nevada.
