Goniatites gerberi
Taxonomy
Goniatites gerberi was named by Korn and Ebbighausen (2006). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.9088.1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GI-C, Gara el Itima, which is in a Brigantian basinal (siliciclastic) sandstone in the Zrigat Formation of Morocco.
