Entolium mapuche
Taxonomy
Entolium mapuche was named by Damborenea (2002). Its type specimen is MLP 24861, a valve (left valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is B8-Arroyo Serrucho, Beds 1348-1351, Mendoza, which is in a Toarcian marine siltstone/limestone in the Puchenque Formation of Argentina.
