Namapsitta praeruptorum
Taxonomy
Namapsitta praeruptorum was named by Mourer-Chauvire et al. (2015). Its type specimen is GSN EC 8-01'13, a limb element (left distal tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eocliff, which is in a Bartonian spring limestone in Namibia. It is the type species of Namapsitta.
