Taxonomy
Schlotheimia densilobata was named by Pompeckj (1893). It is the type species of Pseudoschlotheimia.

It was recombined as Pseudoschlotheimia densilobata by Spath (1924); it was recombined as Angulaticeras densilobatum by Rakús and Guex (2002).
