Taxonomy
Polinices cerovaensis was named by Harzhauser et al. (2011). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerova-Lieskove, which is in a Burdigalian deep-water siltstone in the Laksarska Nova Ves Formation of Slovakia.
