J. Jin 2012 | Shell small to medium sized, strongly ventribiconvex to nearly planoconvex, variously fascicostellate, with medial costa in dorsal valve. Cardinal process confined to notothyrial cavity; myophore showing strong tendency towards trilobation, with medial lobe ranging from incipient to well defined, but rarely prominent. Ventral muscle field usually confined to posterior one-third of valve. Dorsal muscle field quadripartite, with posterior pair of adductor scars smaller but deeper than anterior pair. |
